This post is looooong over due. I know it. You know it. We know it. We've spent the Winter hibernating with dreams and visions of a better, and more focused Late Nite Creature Feature dancing in our heads. We've gotten through the cold and now begin the Spring fresh from our long nap, and ready to rock and roll.
First, there are a couple pieces of news -some good, some bad. Let's start with the bad. We were originally planning on having the married duo of Amber and Blake Brown to be part of our production from the beginning. Originally, Amber would play our 1950s girl-out-of-time Betty. Blake would have been our makeup artist, but due to time constraints and scheduling issues we couldn't quite line up, they have taken a temporary leave from the show. We will miss them, but plan on bringing them back in the future!
Now the good news, and there are a few points of happy to share. First, Amber McGuire has joined our cast as the aforementioned Betty. She is bringing a new angle to the character and has just enough energy to boost the rest of the cast during a time when we needed a real pick-me-up. Second, with that renewed energy and vigor, we're rushing headlong into filming our pilot episode. We plan to have the first episode available for all to see in April, 2012. Along with that, we'll be putting together a Kickstarter campaign to help raise some funds for various tools and possibly some LNCF merchandise. Not only that, but we'll be handing this out like candy, so we'll be hitting up different sites, shops, and other locations with promotional copies of the episode and the whatnot. Beyond that, we'll be looking have a new website and regular episodes start premiering in September. We still plan to do 18 episodes for the first season with each episode being released on a bi-weekly schedule.
All that said, expect much more from us in the coming weeks. I plan to post new updates at least twice a month or more. We'll be hitting the webs fast and furious with news, pictures, and, hopefully, videos. So make sure you stay tuned!

Where's Late Nite Creature Feature?
Hi folks,
The question posed as the title of this post is one that I'd like to answer. Our hopes to have a premiere episode online over the Halloween weekend didn't quite come into fruition. I apologize for anyone looking for that. To better explain, all I can say is that our production ran into a little bit of a snag, and we've realized that perhaps the pre-production of the series needed a little more time to bake in the proverbial oven.
That being said, I have no intention of this show closing up shop. We're retooling a little bit, becoming a little more comfortable with the aspects of the production, and looking to figure out cost effective and logical solutions to some of the problems we've had. I for one have worked too long and too hard to let this just go bye bye.
While I can't definitively say exactly when you can expect episodes to show up online, I can say that the show is still on the way. We're all hoping to get a first episode online soon. What does "soon" mean? Well, let's just say that it's our intention to hit the ground running when we post episodes. While I can't wait for you to see what we're cooking up, I don't intend on just giving you little servings of Late Nite Creature Feature. If that means that we don't premiere until the Spring, well, at least you'll know that you can count on a regular schedule of episodes. We still have 18 episodes planned for this first "season" and that's exactly what we are working on bringing you.
To tie you over until we are able to premiere... I want to share a picture. Here is the cast in full getup and makeup!
Also, because I'm wanting to pull in as much interest as possible on top of just giving you an image to look at, here is the spectacular theme for the show by the band Harley Poe. I think you'll definitely enjoy it and if you haven't heard them before, go to YouTube now and listen to more of their special brand of awesome.

Production Update 9/20/2011 - The Wheels Are Rolling!
Thanks for checking back with our little production! I'm glad to announce that Late Nite Creature Feature will go into real-life production on Saturday, October 1st, 2011! We've had some medical issues, timing issues, but we have everything lined up and ready to roll.
With the production starting a tad later than originally planned, this does mean that our premiere will happen over Halloween weekend this year. So if you saw my previous post, we are still doing those episodes in order, they just start two weeks later than originally posted. After a major reading with the full cast two weeks ago, I have to tell you that what we have will make you laugh and give you hours of enjoyment for (hopefully) years to come! While this first season is short, we know you'll love what we have and stick with us for the long haul.
For now, you will find some photos of the crew in our Photos page. You'll also find that I updated the Cast and Crew page! Check back in the coming weeks as I continue to add photos. The next batch will be from the set itself!
I want to thank all those who have followed us and checked out what we have planned. I also want to thank Trick Greathouse at supremely awesome Asylum House here in Indianapolis for giving us a place to shoot. I also want to give a shout out to the guys at the Horror Dungeon who are also part of our great horror hosting community. While we might be on opposite ends of the spectrum Horror Dungeon goes with the more classic, macabre style that I grew up on.
Until next time!
